Asset Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced “Role” to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory, smooth allocation, proper documentation, and device readiness for operational use. The role involves close coordination with IT support, admin, procurement teams, vendors, and end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a centralized and up-to-date inventory of all organizational IT assets.
• Assign, tag, and manage asset IDs, ensuring accurate mapping to users, locations, and departments.
• Manage the complete asset lifecycle including procurement, system setup, OS installation, deployment, handover, transfer, repair, return, and decommissioning.
• Ensure devices are ready for rollout with operating system installation, basic configuration, and Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) setup.
• Manage and guide the team, coordinating tasks and ensuring timely and precise completion of all asset operations.
• Perform periodic physical verification of assets and update inventory records.
• Identify, document, and report missing, unused, or damaged assets.
• Maintain complete asset documentation including specifications, purchase details, warranty, vendor information, and allocation history.
• Coordinate with IT support, admin, procurement, and operations teams for asset allocation and recovery.
• Coordinate end-to-end asset support for onboarding, role changes, exits, and temporary requirements, including no-dues procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors for asset-related services such as installation, repair, replacement, and support.
• Provide basic IT operational support including system setup, printer configuration, and peripheral connectivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
• 3–5 years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Operations, or Infrastructure Support
• Good knowledge of IT hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Hands-on experience with asset tracking tools (Excel, asset management software, etc.)
• Working knowledge of operating system installation and system setup
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) for end-user setup and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in IT operations.
• Experience managing assets across multiple locations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
