Job Summary

Area Sales Manager – Projects

Modular Operating Theatres (MOTs)

project sales to hospitals, diagnostic chains, and healthcare developers


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a

    territory sales strategy

    focused on upcoming and ongoing hospital infrastructure projects across both private and government sectors.
  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers including

    biomedical engineers, hospital administrators, consultants, and procurement heads

    .
  • Build strong working relationships with

    design consultants, MEP planners, architects, and infrastructure contractors

    to influence project specifications.
  • Present technical solutions and

    product value propositions

    clearly through demos, presentations, and client meetings.
  • Collaborate internally with

    solution architects, technical teams, and pricing departments

    to create proposals, BOQs, and

    AutoCAD-based layouts

    .
  • Manage the

    sales cycle end-to-end

    — from lead generation and engagement to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
  • Support

    handover to service and execution teams

    for smooth implementation of Modular OT, PTS, NCS, and OR Integration solutions.
  • Stay updated on

    competitor offerings, pricing trends

    , and new developments in the

    hospital infrastructure and medical technology domain

    .


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

    in Engineering, Biomedical, Life Sciences, or a related field;

    MBA

    preferred.
  • 5–8 years

    of B2B sales experience in

    healthcare infrastructure, capital equipment, or hospital projects

    .
  • Proven experience in

    Modular OT projects

    or related hospital infrastructure systems such as

    MGPS, HVAC, or turnkey setups

    is preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with

    private hospitals, government healthcare institutions, diagnostic chains, and healthcare developers

    .
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD

    is mandatory for reading, understanding, and marking project layouts.
  • Exposure to

    healthcare IT systems (PACS, HIS)

    and understanding of

    networking infrastructure

    is an advantage.
  • Excellent

    presentation and communication skills

    for engaging with CXOs and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong

    ownership mindset

    , proactive approach, and ability to manage a sales pipeline independently.
  • Willingness to

    travel extensively (50–70%)

    within the assigned territory.
