Hiring for Area Sales Manager (MFD/IFA Channel) with Leading Asset Management Company (AMC)!!!

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Public Sector Banks across the region to ensure consistent business flow.
  
• Prospect, onboard, and guide Relationship Managers and Sales Officers within PSU banks to increase mutual fund penetration.
  
• Strategically influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers within banks to gain mindshare and drive business objectives.
  
• Engage consultatively with Branch Managers, Senior RMs, and Regional Heads to identify sales opportunities.
  
• Drive primary sales, relationship management, and cross-selling of a comprehensive suite of mutual fund products.
  
• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team; set and monitor performance targets.
  
• Ensure client satisfaction by addressing queries and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
  
• Track market trends and competitor activity to help shape strategic sales plans and improve performance.
  
• Conduct regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions for banking partners and internal teams.
  
• Efficiently manage budgets and ensure smooth coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  

Candidate Requirements:

• Prior exposure to the

  Mutual Fund or Asset Management

  industry is preferred.
• Strong product and market knowledge in the financial services domain.
  
• Excellent networking skills with proven experience in key account management.
  
• Attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  
• Open to multitasking and expanding responsibilities beyond the defined role.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
