Job Description

Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales operations within a specific geographic area, ensuring business growth, managing the sales team, achieving sales targets, and building strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Planning & Execution
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Forecast sales volume and identify potential market opportunities.
  • Team Management
  • Lead, motivate, and train the sales team to ensure high performance.
  • Set individual sales targets and monitor team progress.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
  • Market Development
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Maintain relationships with key distributors, retailers, and business partners.
  • Conduct market research to understand competitor activities and consumer trends.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery and service support.
  • Resolve customer complaints and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Visit key clients regularly to ensure brand loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend promotional activities and marketing support to enhance sales.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in FMCD / Consumer Durables / Manufacturing sector preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
