Area Sales Manager - Pune

• Understand the key product portfolio of the company (Ceramic Cutting Tools, CBN Cutting Tools, CBN/D Grinding Wheels, Gear Grinding Products, Deburring Products).
• Develop & nurture relations with large customers of the key products in the company portfolio.
• Identify areas for improvement in clients production process and provide recommendations based on the companys portfolio strength.
• Assess market competition by comparing the company’s product to competitor’s products.
• Provide source data for product marketing communications.
• Develop sales strategies and consistently gain market share for portfolio products in North India.
• Analyze and estimate the annual business potential of the clients.
• Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
• Provide monthly inventory planning for existing clients and pipeline projects.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Prefered Candidate Profile

Education: Engineering/ITI/BSc/Diploma in a relevant field

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in cutting tools/grinding wheels sales.
• Must have live connections within the high potential customers of portfolio products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Marathi, English, Hindi).
• Self-motivated hustler with demonstrated excellence in cross-selling and up-selling products.
• Independent ability to communicate savings to multiple stake holders at the client.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
