About the Role:

Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow sales for assigned territory within Bhubaneswar and surrounding regions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists, and key stakeholders.
• Drive secondary and primary sales to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
• Plan and execute fieldwork, promotional activities, and brand visibility initiatives.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights to management.
• Conduct regular market audits and submit sales reports as required.
• Train, motivate, and support field staff (if applicable).
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in pharma product sales (must have field-selling experience).
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market in Odisha.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Graduate in any discipline; a background in life sciences/pharmacy is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
