We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead the Prime Home Loan (HL) business via the Direct Branch Banking channel. You will be responsible for driving home loan sales, managing branch teams, deepening customer relationships, and ensuring smooth end-to-end customer service for one of India’s most trusted financial institutions.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Branch Channel Ownership

  • Manage the Direct-to-Customer (D2C) sales vertical through branch walk-ins, referrals, and in-house leads

  • Work closely with branch managers and staff to generate high-quality home loan leads

  1. Sales Target Achievement

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly business targets (Loan disbursal, cross-sell, customer conversion)

  • Monitor sales KPIs and ensure pipeline movement from lead generation to disbursement

  1. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Provide best-in-class customer experience and handhold customers throughout the loan journey

  • Resolve queries and issues at every step of the process, ensuring high satisfaction and retention levels

  1. Credit Understanding & Documentation

  • Collect and validate necessary documents for credit evaluation

  • Ensure compliance with company policy and coordinate with credit and operations teams for timely processing

  1. Team Collaboration & Training

  • Train and guide branch staff to identify and qualify potential customers

  • Conduct regular sales huddles, performance reviews, and branch activation programs

  1. Relationship Building & Cross-Selling

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and leverage them for cross-selling (insurance, top-up loans, etc.)

  • Tap into walk-ins and branch leads to maximize wallet share

  1. Market Intelligence

  • Keep a pulse on competitor strategies, local market trends, and customer needs

  • Suggest improvements and innovations based on market feedback

WHO SHOULD APPLY?:

4–8 years of experience in Home Loans or Mortgage Sales

Hands-on experience in Direct Sales / Branch Banking model

Good knowledge of credit policies, housing loan documentation & disbursal process

Excellent communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills

Self-motivated, target-driven and team-focused
