Job

Sales Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead and motivate a team of Territory Managers, Sales Officers, and TSIs to achieve zonal sales objectives.
  • Drive primary and secondary sales targets while ensuring profitable growth across all markets.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance analysis; identify improvement areas and implement corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Supply Chain, Marketing, and HR) to ensure smooth business execution and team efficiency.

Distribution & Market Expansion

  • Appoint, manage, and develop distributors to ensure efficient product availability and service levels.
  • Drive numeric and weighted distribution growth in assigned territories, ensuring product presence across key outlets.
  • Identify new markets, channels, and opportunities to expand coverage and strengthen market penetration.
  • Ensure effective distribution infrastructure planning, stock hygiene, and secondary sales management.

Market Execution & Channel Management

  • Manage sales across all channels General Trade, Modern Trade (SAMT), and Wholesale.
  • Ensure standard retail performance and BTL activation excellence, including visibility and merchandising execution.
  • Regularly visit markets to evaluate sales operations, competitor activity, and trade relationships.
  • Liaise with distributors, retailers, and trade partners to maintain alignment on targets, margins, and service standards.

Sales Process & Reporting

  • Implement structured sales management processes to improve sales forecasting, productivity, and coverage planning.
  • Provide concise and accurate sales reports, dashboards, and insights for decision-making.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to reduce sales cycle time and enhance process efficiency.

Education

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Management
  • MBA in Sales & Marketing

    fast-paced, dynamic environment

Experience

  • 9–12 years of experience in

    FMCG / OTC sales

    , with at least 3–5 years in a

    team-handling role

  • Strong

    geographical understanding

    (urban and rural markets)
  • Proven record of achieving

    sales growth, market expansion, and distributor management
