Job Description

Job Summary: As an Area Manager, you will oversee and manage a specific geographical region's operations, ensuring that all locations within the area meet company standards for performance, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a combination of strategic leadership, operational expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to drive business growth, maximize productivity, and ensure operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: Supervise the day-to-day operations of multiple locations within the assigned area. Ensure consistency and compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Conduct regular site visits to evaluate operations and provide hands-on support. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of store or location managers. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to ensure team members meet company standards. Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and employee retention. Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability for each location in the area. Analyze financial reports and use data to implement action plans aimed at improving financial performance. Ensure proper inventory management, cost control, and waste reduction strategies are in place. Customer Satisfaction & Quality Control: Ensure that locations within the area consistently provide excellent customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels. Address and resolve customer complaints and operational challenges in a timely and professional manner. Implement quality control measures and monitor customer feedback for continuous improvement. Sales & Business Development: Identify growth opportunities and execute strategies to increase revenue and market share within the area. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop regional promotions and business strategies. Ensure the execution of corporate initiatives and local campaigns to drive traffic and sales. Reporting & Communication: Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance, financial metrics, and team performance. Maintain clear and effective communication with upper management and staff to ensure alignment with company goals. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years of experience in retail management, operations, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities. Proven ability to manage budgets and drive financial results. Knowledge of operational efficiency, inventory control, and quality assurance practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in a relevant field. Experience in multi-unit management across diverse locations. Proficiency with relevant business management software (e.g., MS Office Suite, Salesforce, or other ERP systems). Working Conditions: Full-time, with the requirement to travel within the assigned area. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
