Job Description

Area Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute regional sales and operations strategies.
Drive new client onboarding initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.
Oversee regional P&L and ensure revenue targets are met.
Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery.
Manage vendor development, sourcing, and process improvements.
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.
Prepare MIS and reports for management decision-making.
Guide teams on continuous improvement initiatives and escalate process deviations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
Successful onboarding of new clients.
Order fulfillment and availability rates.
Implementation of process improvement projects.
Team performance and operational efficiency.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong planning, execution, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
Customer relationship management expertise.
Team leadership and people management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP processes is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduation (Preferred).
Minimum 7 years of proven experience in sales and operations, preferably in logistics/transportation.
Experience in handling teams and leading regional operations.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
