Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Area Credit Manager to join our team at TATA CAPITAL LIMITED in the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in retail credit, housing, and credit management.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and oversee the credit function for retail assets, including loan origination, underwriting, and portfolio management.
Develop and implement effective credit strategies to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
Conduct thorough analysis of credit data and market trends to inform business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all credit-related activities.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of credit principles, practices, and regulations in the banking industry.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising and mentoring junior staff.
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Excel and SQL.
Experience working with retail assets, including loans, deposits, and other financial products.
