Area Collection Manager

As a Collection Manager, you will be responsible for driving the collection strategy to ensure the efficient tracking and delivery of the assigned collection portfolio. You will play a crucial role in meeting the company's collection goals by achieving targets related to Collection Efficiency, Bucket wise Collection, NPA management, Roll back % on Digital collection, and establishing escalation and control processes for default scenarios. Your role will involve day-to-day team management, mentoring, and up-skilling to ensure team engagement, performance, and retention. Additionally, you will oversee the identification and resolution of fraudulent practices, implementing changes in policies and processes to mitigate risks effectively. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate the ability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the company's objectives. You will be responsible for managing productivity by setting parameters for collection executives and Area Collection Managers, leveraging your sound knowledge of collections, bucket management, NPA recoveries, and regulatory guidelines in collections. Furthermore, your experience in utilizing analytics to enhance collection efficiencies and driving automation and digitization in associated processes will be instrumental in your success. As a leader, you will be expected to exhibit strong leadership qualities in handling, developing, and driving large teams across different geographies. Your role will also involve people management responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and assessment of team members and partners. Effective communication and interpersonal skills will be essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure synergy in overall delivery.
