Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Operational Oversight
Supervise, guide, and review performance of assigned Collection Officers
Monitor daily recovery activities and Customer visits.
Ensure timely and ethical collection practices.
NPA & High-Stress Portfolio Management
Regularly track NPA + HS (High Stress) pools.
Execute targeted field visits for critical accounts.
Reduce borrower count and outstanding under NPA+HS categories.
Compliance & Fraud Monitoring
Identify, investigate, and report financial frauds or misappropriation by field staff.
Implement checks and audit trails during visits and collection reconciliation.
Customer Interaction & Education
Promote respectful, compliant, and customer-friendly collection practices.
Educate COs on behavioral discipline and borrower communication.
Legal & Settlement Tools
Strategically use Lok Adalat, conciliation forums, and other legal tools for account resolution.
Enhance monthly compromise settlements through continuous follow-up.
Track & Report
NPA recovery volume
Number of customers regularized
Compromise settlement closures
Leadership Development
Drive Team level planning
Prepare self and team for higher responsibilities though continuous structured performance
