Job Description

As an SDE I or SDE II - Android, you will work on building modular, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications in Kotlin. You'll be part of a passionate tech team driving the mobile-first food ordering experience, integrating rich UI, real-time data, loyalty, payments, live tracking, and more.

Responsibilities

SDE I

Implement new features and UI flows using Kotlin and Jetpack components.
Work on multi-module app architecture for scalable and faster build systems.
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features.
Write clean, testable code and perform unit/integration testing.
Debug issues and optimize performance across devices and networks.

SDE II

Own and lead development of large modules or new app verticals (e. g., loyalty, order tracking, delivery agent comms).
Drive best practices in multi-module app design, navigation architecture, and performance tuning.
Mentor junior team members on Kotlin, app structure, and clean architecture principles.
Lead code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to roadmap planning.
Actively shape CI/CD, release pipeline, crash reporting, and observability.

Requirements

Strong command over Kotlin and modern Android development tools (Jetpack, Coroutines, Navigation).
Experience working with multi-module Android apps in a production environment.
MVVM / MVI architecture knowledge, with the use of DI frameworks like Hilt/Koin.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, Retrofit, JSON parsing, and offline handling.
Familiarity with Agile processes, Git, Jira, Firebase Crashlytics, and Play Store lifecycle.
Exposure to real-time order tracking, maps SDK, push notifications, or food delivery workflows.
Experience working in consumer tech/food tech / QSR mobile applications.
Contribution to open-source or side projects in the Android ecosystem.
Performance profiling, memory leak detection, and handling low-end devices.
