ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

Define Clear Objectives Understand the project requirements and define clear objectives for each feature or task. This helps in staying focused and organized throughout the development process. Effective Communication Communication is key when working in a cross-functional team. Regularly update team members on your progress, discuss any challenges you encounter, and seek feedback to ensure alignment with project goals. Adherence to Design Guidelines- Follow Android design guidelines to ensure consistency and usability across different devices and screen sizes. This includes adhering to Material Design principles for a visually appealing and intuitive user interface. API Integration- Integrate external data sources and APIs securely and efficiently. Handle errors and edge cases gracefully to provide a seamless user experience even when network conditions are poor or data is unavailable. Unit Testing- Write comprehensive unit tests to validate the functionality of your code. Test for various scenarios, including edge cases, to ensure robustness and reliability of your application. Bug Fixing and Performance Optimization- Actively monitor and address any bugs or performance issues that arise during development or after deployment. Regularly analyze and optimize code for improved performance and efficiency. Continuous Learning and Adoption of New Technologies- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Android development. Continuously evaluate new tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance development efficiency and stay competitive in the ever-evolving tech landscape. Documentation- Document your code, design decisions, and any APIs used comprehensively. This helps other team members understand your work and facilitates smoother collaboration. Professional Conduct Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Respect deadlines, honor commitments, and proactively address any issues or concerns that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Min 1+ years of experience in Android Application Development You have prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and Android NDK. You are familiar with Restful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications. You have a proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. You are familiar with various testing tools. You are a problem solver with good analytical skills. Preference would be given to a person with a start-up experience
