How will you make an impact in this role?
The Global Risk & Compliance Organization (“GRC”) independently oversees the company’s risk-taking and risk management activities, including the comprehensive identification, management, and mitigation of risks within the Company’s risk appetite. GRC ensures the company operates in a safe, sound and fully compliant manner within all applicable regulatory expectations. We create and maintain the overall risk management framework while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

The Operational Risk Management (ORM) team within GRC facilitates and monitors the implementation of effective Operational Risk Management Programs throughout the organization, and oversees risk ownership throughout business units, products, and processes.

The objective of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Issues & Events team is to efficiently manage and remediate operational risk events (OREs) and issues across the BU, and ensure timely resolution of events that may impact BAU operations
We are seeking for an Analyst, to join our Operational Risk Management (ORM) function. The successful candidate will be responsible in driving the governance and ensuring effective operational risk management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be able to provide credible challenge, identify weaknesses in the environment, communicate observations clearly, and work collaboratively with all colleagues. They will know how to efficiently complete key program initiatives, projects, and responsibilities, coordinating amongst partners across first and second lines of defense. They will have the skills necessary to work on multiple team responsibilities and thrive in an environment with many ad-hoc assignments. The candidate will be able to optimally produce results, enabling the business to manage operational risk exposures, and elevate the program.

o Assisting in Audit and Regulatory activities as well as providing support in the execution of MRA findings.
o Assisting in administrative activities required to maintain the scope of issues and events within an enterprise framework.
o Supporting specific activities / tasks required to maintain the technology and processes used to record, manage, and report issues and events.
o Developing training materials and communication tailored to specific users on Issues and Events execution guidance.
o Developing Policies and Procedures and imparting training to a substantially large audience
