Job Description

As part of the Mumbai AML Screening team at Morgan Stanley Fund Services, you will be responsible for providing AML/KYC services to hedge funds and investors. Your role will involve reviewing KYC documents, identifying red flags, verifying sources of wealth and funds, performing sanctions screenings, and conducting due diligence based on investor risk scores. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the AML - Screening team to ensure efficient processing of investor transactions and screenings - Perform detailed screenings and ongoing reviews using available tools and databases - Investigate, document, and make decisions on potential matches - Maintain accurate documentation and escalate alerts when necessary - Communicate with clients/investors for additional information - Provide inputs to improve the sanctions screening risk methodology - Produce and review MIS reports for operational efficiency - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for client delivery - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate operational risks - Drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency - Mentor and develop team members within the AML/KYC Operations function - Prepare detailed reports on operations and analyze trends for service enhancement Qualifications Required: - Masters Degree/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field - Certification in ACAMS would be helpful - 15+ years of AML/KYC - Screening experience, with 4+ years in a management role - Strong knowledge of global AML regulations - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data management tools - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills - Ability to work under pressure and cope with increased workloads Additional Details: Morgan Stanley is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can maximize their potential.
