Job Title: Assistant Manager _ People Operations (HRMIS)
Experience: 8+ years of experienceLocation: Gurugram

Job Summary/ Job Opportunity:

  • This role is part of the People function and shall be responsible for supporting the People Operations Lead in data management and reporting, in addition to administering day-to-day activities related to employee record management, employee query handling, etc.
  • This is a highly collaborative team environment, and candidates must possess a demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and work independently with minimal direct supervision.

Key Objectives and Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights for performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver timely solutions.
  • Automate recurring reports and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all MIS platforms.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and deep-dive analysis as needed.
  • Document processes, methodologies, and data definitions for transparency and scalability.
  • Record keeping and maintaining documents based on various audit requirements.

Key Capabilities and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Excel (Advanced), VBA Macros, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and other data visualization tools.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of HRIS systems, presentation and visualization of the data.
  • Self-driven and result-oriented approach, ability to work and perform under pressure.
  • A collaborative approach, ability to work across teams.
  • Strong understanding of database management and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in HR MIS, data analysis, or business intelligence roles.
  • Must have working knowledge of HR processes.
  • Experience in various data visualization and presentation tools e.g. PowerBI etc.
