Role Overview:

We are looking for an innovative and proactive Assistant Manager – R&D who will drive the integration of AI-powered workflows, process automation, and efficiency optimization across multiple departments at Jaipur Rugs.

The role blends technology, creativity, and team collaboration, aiming to modernize traditional systems while preserving the company’s core craftsmanship values.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AI Workflow Development:

Identify bottlenecks in department processes and build AI-driven solutions.

Design automation tools and scripts to reduce manual, repetitive tasks.

Collaborate with tech teams to integrate AI tools into existing systems.

2. Cross-Department Collaboration & Training

Conduct AI training programs for departments such as Design, CAD, QC, Sales, and Marketing.

Create SOPs, documentation, and implementation guides for AI adoption.

Drive change management & team proactiveness in adopting new technologies.

3. Performance & KPI Optimization

Build data-driven KPI frameworks to measure efficiency and output.

Monitor ROI and report performance improvements post-AI integration.

Support team leads with insights, dashboards, and decision-making tools.

4. Team Management & Coordination

Work with multi-disciplinary teams to locate problems and design solutions.

Facilitate coordination between R&D, product, operations, design, and tech.

Ensure smooth execution of experiments, pilots, and workflow deployments.

Required Skills & Experience:

Process Optimization, Python, Replicate API, AI Workflow Design, Automation scripts,

SOP & Documentation, Google Suite, Team Training & Enablement, Presentation & workshop skills,

KPI & Performance Tracking, Data analysis

Experience:

1–3 years in process improvement, R&D, operations, AI integration, or workflow design (preferred).
