Job Description: Job Title: Corporate Advocate Location: Office No: 528 - A Gera Imperium Rise, Opposite Wipro Circle at Hinjewadi Phase 2, Pune. Department: Legal Reports To: Head – Legal & Compliance Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Advocate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing legal matters related to corporate law, including contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, dispute resolution, and providing sound legal advice to internal departments. You will play a key role in safeguarding the legal interests of the company while supporting its strategic business goals. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and vendor agreements. Ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, investment transactions, and partnerships. Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and before regulatory authorities as needed. Coordinate with external legal counsel on complex matters, including litigation and due diligence. Maintain legal records and documentation in accordance with company policy. Conduct legal research and risk assessments to advise internal stakeholders effectively. Assist in drafting and reviewing internal policies, processes, and compliance documentation. Train business units on legal best practices, contract management, and regulatory updates. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm. Strong understanding of contract law, company law, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. High degree of professional ethics and integrity. Preferred Skills: Experience in fintech, financial services, or startup environments. Knowledge of intellectual property rights, data protection laws, and employment law.
