About the Role

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment posting, and reconciliation.
Monitor and analyze
accounts aging
to ensure timely collections and identify delinquent accounts.
Conduct proactive outreach to customers regarding overdue invoices, payment status, and billing discrepancies.
Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports and provide insights on AR trends.
Resolve customer billing issues by coordinating with sales, customer service, and other internal teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date AR records in accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
Assist in month-end closing processes, including AR reconciliations and documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and accounting standards.
Support process improvements to streamline AR workflows.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in
Accounts Receivable
or a similar finance/accounting role.
Demonstrated expertise in
managing account aging
, collections follow-up, and AR reporting.
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, SAP, or equivalent).
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formatting, etc.).
Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and internal teams.
High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts.
Must be available to work
U.S. business hours
consistently.
