Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Sector- 67, Mohali

Main Duties

• Process and reconcile sales invoices

• Customer self-bill and POD reconciliation

• Assist in credit control and follow up on outstanding debts

• Dealing with customer queries related to the sales ledger, both via telephone and email

• Dealing with queries from the credit control team and other internal stakeholders

• Issuing copy invoices

• Posting customer receipts

• Reconciling the bank account

• Investigating and resolving unallocated cash receipts

• Customer self-bill reconciliation and POD

• Production of daily and ad-hoc reports

• Review and code Purchase invoices to the correct nominal accounts, cost centres and departments, and address supplier queries

• Prepare payment runs

• Reconcile supplier statements

• Process credit card transactions and expense claims

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes Required Skills, Competencies and Experience

• Attention to detail

• Proven experience in Sales Ledger and Credit Control

• Experience in an accounts or finance assistant role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage 200 &Xero)

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience in an accounts or finance assistant role (12 months minimum)
