Role Description

The Accounts Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, Maharashtra. The individual will oversee all financial operations, including planning, controlling, and monitoring financial resources to achieve organizational objectives effectively. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing budgets, optimizing cash flow, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, overseeing audits, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. The role also involves leading and mentoring the accounts team to ensure smooth operations and stakeholders' satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting practices, taxation, and compliance regulations.
• Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring, and organizational management of finance departments.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights to support organizational growth.
• Proficiency in using accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent, or a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with significant experience.
• Experience in the education sector or similar industries is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
