As the Accounts Executive at NavGurukul, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the
organization's financial health and compliance. You will manage day-to-day financial operations,assist with budgeting and donor reporting, and uphold financial transparency and accuracy across the board.
● Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
● Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow efficiently.
● Handle petty cash and staff reimbursements.
● Collaborate with HR to process monthly payroll.
● Prepare financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
● Assist in audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
● File statutory financial returns and maintain necessary documentation.
● Manage FCRA and 80G compliance records.
● Compile financial reports for donor-funded projects.
● Maintain an up-to-date fixed asset register.
● Assist in managing grants and preparing financial reports for donors.
● Provide financial data support for fundraising initiatives.
● Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
● Document and regularly update SOPs for all finance functions.
● 2+ years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
● Proficiency in Tally or other accounting software.
● Familiarity with FCRA and 80G compliance is preferred.
● Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
● Commitment to working in the social sector and alignment with NavGurukul’s values.
