Job Description

Location: 201 202 203 GIDC Dholka - 382225; Dist. Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India)

Key Responsibilities:


  • Import & Export Documentation

  1. Prepare and manage export/import documentation including BRC, Duty Drawback, and RoDTEP claims.
  2. Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and relevant authorities.


  • Regulatory Compliance & Online Portals

  1. Ensure compliance with DGFT regulations, ICEGATE portal requirements, and preparation of COO (Certificate of Origin).
  2. Liaise with government agencies for timely submission and follow-up of documentation.


  • Freight Forwarding & Shipping Coordination

  1. Handle pre-shipment and post-shipment activities including booking of cargo, freight negotiations, and shipment tracking.
  2. Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters, and insurance companies for smooth movement of goods.


  • Accounts & Finance Operations

  1. Manage Tally ERP/Prime for day-to-day accounting entries.
  2. Prepare and reconcile ledger statements, maintain payables and receivables, and ensure timely vendor/client payments.
  3. Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements regularly.


  • Taxation & Compliance

  1. Handle TDS, GST TDS, TDS 194Q, and reconciliation with 26AS.
  2. Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and statutory requirements.


  • Inventory & Financial Coordination

  1. Monitor and manage inventory levels in coordination with the store/production team.
  2. Coordinate with banks for LC (Letter of Credit), BG (Bank Guarantee), foreign payments, pre/post-shipment finance, and forward contracts.


  • Communication & Reporting

  1. Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, clients, and internal teams for payment and shipment-related issues.
  2. Prepare MIS reports on export/import performance, outstanding receivables/payables, and bank positions.



Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of

    Export Incentives (RoDTEP, Duty Drawback)

    and

    DGFT/ICEGATE

    procedures.
  • Expertise in

    Tally ERP/Prime

    ,

    MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

    .
  • Understanding of

    international trade terms (INCOTERMS)

    and

    logistics operations

    .
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.



Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in

    Commerce, Finance, or International Trade

    .
  • 3–7 years of experience

    in Import/Export Documentation & Accounts in a manufacturing/export-oriented company.
  • Knowledge of

    banking instruments (LC, BG, Forward Contracts)

    preferred.
