Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and audits. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory compliances, and the ability to lead and guide a small accounts team. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP system. Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, bank reconciliations, and financial statements. Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts. Taxation & Compliance Manage GST, TDS, PF, PT, and other statutory compliances. Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, advance tax calculations, etc. Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Excise, and other applicable laws. Financial Reporting & Audit Prepare MIS reports – P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Debtors/Creditors aging. Coordinate with statutory/internal auditors and ensure timely completion of audits. Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversee vendor payments, credit notes, and reconciliations. Monitor receivables, collections, and prepare debtor ageing reports. Liaise with sales/operations teams for timely resolution of discrepancies. Team Support & Process Improvement Guide and supervise junior accountants in day-to-day tasks. Implement process improvements for better accuracy and efficiency. Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and data integrity. RequirementsQualification: CA Inter/CA Final/CMA/ Equivalent 5–10 years of accounting experience (Alcobev / FMCG / Distribution preferred). Hands-on experience in Tally ERP, MS Excel, Accounting Software. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, compliance, and financial reporting. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and leadership skills.
