About Studio Saddles

Studio Saddles is a design-led furniture and seating manufacturer focused on quality, customization, and efficient production. We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage factory-level accounting, compliance, and cost controls.


Key Responsibilities

Factory & Showroom Accounting

  • Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for factory and showroom operations.
  • Record day-to-day transactions including purchases, sales, expenses, and journal entries.
  • Ensure proper allocation of expenses between factory and showroom.


Costing & Inventory Management

  • Track production costs, job work costs, and product-wise costing.
  • Maintain inventory records for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Reconcile physical stock with accounting records in coordination with factory and showroom teams.


Vendor, Job Work & Customer Accounts

  • Manage vendor bills, job-worker invoices, and payment schedules.
  • Reconcile vendor and job-worker statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain customer ledgers, invoicing, and receipt tracking for showroom sales.


GST, Compliance & Statutory Filings

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation).
  • Manage E-way bills, input tax credit tracking, and GST compliance for factory and showroom.
  • Coordinate with Chartered Accountant for audits, filings, and statutory compliance.


Payroll & Expense Management

  • Process payroll for factory and showroom staff, including attendance and overtime.
  • Handle PF, ESI, and other statutory deductions where applicable.
  • Verify and control petty cash and showroom expenses.


MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly MIS reports including:
  • Profit & Loss for factory and showroom
  • Costing and margin analysis
  • Inventory and ageing reports
  • Payables and receivables summaries
  • Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.


Coordination & Controls

  • Work closely with Factory, PPC, Stores, Sales, and Purchase teams.
  • Ensure proper documentation for purchases, GRNs, job work, and sales.
  • Strengthen internal controls and suggest process improvements.



Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com preferred).
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience handling manufacturing and retail accounting.
  • Strong working knowledge of GST and Indian accounting standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally / accounting ERP and MS Excel.
  • Good understanding of costing, inventory accounting, and job work.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple operations.



Preferred Experience

  • Experience in furniture, manufacturing, or design-led retail brands.
  • Exposure to customized or made-to-order production environments.
