Job Description

Financial Record Management: Manage all accounting transactions, document financial records, and maintain accurate ledgers. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports), budget forecasts, and tax returns. Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in account information to ensure accuracy. Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, accounting regulations, and tax laws. Auditing: Audit financial documents, procedures, and transactions to identify errors and irregularities. Forecasting & Planning: Assist with financial forecasting, budget preparation, and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Software Proficiency: Utilize and manage accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero for financial management. Essential Skills & Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is typically required. Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and local tax regulations. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy are crucial in financial record-keeping. Communication: Effective communication skills for collaborating with finance teams, management, and stakeholders.
