Accountant

Job Title: AccountantCompany: Fix Yantra EngineeringLocation: Bhosari, Pune, Maharashtra Department: Accounts & Administration Reporting To: General ManagerJob Summary: The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.), and supporting management with timely financial reporting. The role involves close coordination with banking partners, vendors, and internal teams for financial transparency and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:Maintain books of accounts in Tally or relevant accounting software. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliation. Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Handle bank transactions, reconciliation Maintain petty cash and expense records. Assist in finalization of accounts and coordinate with auditors. Generate monthly financial reports, stock statements, and fund requirement summaries. Support in invoice generation, follow-up for payments, and ensure proper documentation. Support management in budgeting, cost control, and MIS reports. Ensure timely payroll processing and maintain related records. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Qualification in Accounting or Finance. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering industry preferred. Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and GST portal operations. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and banking processes. Attention to detail and ability to work independently with accuracy. Good communication and coordination skills. Preferred Attributes: Experience managing ISO 9001 documentation for finance-related processes. Familiarity with loan accounts and fund utilization reporting. Proactive in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Compensation:As per industry standards and candidate’s experience.
