Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, support audit processes, handle administrative tasks, and coordinate basic logistics functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, proficiency in financial reporting, and the ability to oversee inventory, stock movement, and dispatch activities in coordination with the operations team. Key Responsibilities:Accounting & FinanceMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and journals. Prepare and post daily accounting entries (AP/AR, expense booking, bank entries, etc.). Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances. Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities. Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner. Audit & ComplianceAssist in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit trails. AdministrationSupport day-to-day administrative operations, including documentation and record management. Coordinate with other departments for smooth internal communication and workflow. Handle basic HR/admin-related tasks such as maintaining attendance or office supplies (as required). Logistics, Stock Keeping & DispatchMaintain stock records, update inventory levels, and ensure accurate stock reconciliation. Coordinate with the warehouse/operations team for material receipt, storage, and issue. Prepare dispatch documents (invoice, delivery challan, packing list, etc.). Track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery. Assist in periodic physical stock audits and resolve variances. Requirements:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting; knowledge of logistics or inventory management is a plus. Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems). Good organizational, analytical, and time-management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Preferred QualitiesHonest, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive problem-solving attitude.
