Job Summary

The Accounts Manager & HR Administrator will be responsible for managing the organization’s financial systems and supporting HR administration. This role bridges finance and human resources, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, donor guidelines, and internal policies, while supporting smooth organizational operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management

  • Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledgers, and financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, donor reports, and utilization certificates.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of project-wise expenditures.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, reimbursements, and bank reconciliations.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion and submission of audit reports.

HR Administration

  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
  • Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation and filing of statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, etc.).
  • Support employee onboarding, exit formalities, leave management, and attendance tracking.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and cost-optimization strategies.
  • Train staff on financial compliance processes, documentation standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to NGO statutory compliances and donor-specific guidelines.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Finance (MBA/PGDM – Inter preferred).
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the development or non-profit sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of Indian accounting standards and NGO statutory compliances.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally preferred), MS Excel, and payroll systems.

Key Competencies

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage cross-functional responsibilities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Remuneration

₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
