Accountant/ Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive / Account Assistant with hands-on experience in Tally ERP, account reconciliation, and general accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP or other relevant ERP systems. Prepare and post journal entries, vouchers, and ledger entries. Reconcile bank statements, vendor and customer accounts on a regular basis. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in coordination with the compliance team. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintain supporting documents and ensure audit readiness. Generate reports for management as required (e.g., aging analysis, cash flow reports). Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary data and reports. Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams for invoice or payment clarifications. Key Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in Tally ERP (Tally Prime preferred) and MS Excel. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. Familiarity with bank reconciliation. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. 1–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance. Certification or training in Tally ERP will be an added advantage. Preferred Attributes: Experience working in a manufacturing, trading, or services environment. Exposure to ERP systems other than Tally (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
