Accountant/ Accounts Executive

About the Role We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support business growth through accurate financial reporting. Along with core accounting functions, the role includes responsibility for inventory management, estimation preparation, invoicing, client data entry, and rental follow-ups, making it an integral part of day-to-day business operations. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Compliance Maintain day-to-day books of accounts, ledgers, and reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings. Assist in payroll processing and maintain employee financial records. Support audits with required documentation and reports. Operational & Business Support Manage inventory records of medical equipment, track stock, depreciation, and availability. Prepare cost estimates/quotations for sales and rental equipment. Generate and share invoices with clients in a timely manner. Ensure accurate entry of client details into the system/CRM. Follow up with clients for rental renewals, payments, and contract extensions. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets to support management decisions. Prepare MIS and financial reports for management review. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven work experience as an Accountant (minimum 1 year is preferred). Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other accounting software. Knowledge of MS Excel and financial data analysis. Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, and TDS compliance. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. Preferred Skills Experience in healthcare/medical equipment rental or service industry. Knowledge of inventory control and asset management. Strong communication and client follow-up skills.
