Account Manager

As a DBM / ABM / BM / Sr. BM at Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the achievement of key business outcomes and building a quality Agency. Your primary responsibilities will include owning the business plan for the branch, both top-line and bottom-line targets for the team, and ensuring adherence to all statutory and compliance requirements. You will drive the people agenda sharply to enable the achievement of people outcomes and internalize the management philosophy and business strategy of the company to drive it in the branch. You will be responsible for building a quality Agency by focusing on the quality of hire and skilling, ensuring that the existing team of Agents is engaged, motivated, and productive by forging a strong relationship with them, and constantly inducting, activating, and ensuring productivity of new Agent Advisors for the team. Additionally, you will drive incentive schemes to ensure that the income of the Agency managers and Agent Advisors exceeds benchmark levels. To be successful in this role, you should have 8-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial services distribution, and 3-5 years of team handling experience. Key requirements include expertise in areas such as New GWP, Renewal GWP, Renewal no. of cases, Active agents and PA, desired product mix, No. of New Agents, Audit findings, Employee engagement, and Attrition. Your functional competencies should include convincing skills, product/insurance knowledge, continuous learning, technology proficiency, team work, problem-solving & analytical skills, compliance & regulatory knowledge, and customer focus.
