Account Manager

Job Title: Accounts ManagerLocation: UnnaoDepartment: Finance & AccountsReport to: DirectorEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the company’s financial accounting operations for the export business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Ensure timely filing of tax returns (GST, VAT, TDS, income tax, etc.) and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.Lead and supervise the accounting team; provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audit processes.Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.Monitor compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable laws.Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency.Stock Inventory management with store departmentRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CA intermediate.Proven work experience as an Accounts Manager or similar role (typically 5+ years).Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally similar ERP systems).Advanced MS Excel skills and good analytical abilities.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
