Job Description

Job Summary:

The Accountant Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial accounting, reporting, and compliance functions. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, manages the accounting team, supports audits, and develops processes to improve financial efficiency and control.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly closings.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Implement internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost control and profitability improvement.
Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and performance feedback.
Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Maintain up-to-date records and ensure data accuracy in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).

Job Type: Permanent
