As we expand our India operations, we are hiring a seasoned Account / Customer Development Manager to support and grow key UK accounts.
Role Overview
The Account / Customer Development Manager will be responsible for managing key UK accounts end-to-end. This includes commercial ownership, operations coordination, client relationship management, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in FMCG or related domains and the ability to manage global clients with a strong commercial mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth
Manage strategic UK accounts from onboarding to delivery and aftersales support.
Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to expand product portfolios, including new SKUs and categories.
Commercial Ownership
Lead commercial negotiations and execute agreements that ensure profitability.
Drive margin optimization, pricing strategy, and sustainable business growth.
New Product Development (NPD)
Coordinate NPD activities from concept to launch.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product introduction.
Operational Coordination
Oversee end-to-end order flow, logistics planning, delivery schedules, and payment cycles.
Troubleshoot operational challenges and ensure consistent service delivery.
Sales Analytics & Business Insights
Track sales performance for key accounts and prepare detailed reports.
Forecast demand, analyze trends, and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
Candidate Requirements
6–10 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Development, or Key Account Sales.
Strong background in FMCG, Food, Retail, or Supply Chain industries.
Proven success in managing large or international accounts.
Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage end-to-end account operations independently.
Experience with UK/European clients is a strong plus.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in UK business hours.
MBA in Marketing or related field preferred.
