About the Role

Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM)

The ideal candidate will have strong FMCG field experience, proven leadership skills, and expertise in distributor and channel management.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned zone.
• Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and field sales staff.
• Expand and manage distributor networks while ensuring product availability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and provide actionable insights.
• Implement sales plans, schemes, and promotional programs.
• Ensure accurate reporting, sales tracking, and team performance reviews.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular market visits to ensure execution and team accountability.

Requirements

• Graduate; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
• 8–12+ years of experience in FMCG sales and distribution.
• Experience in team management and multi-location sales operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Field-oriented, with the ability to travel extensively.
