Job Title: Zonal Sales Manager

Location: Jaipur

Department: Sales

Reports To: National Sales Head / Regional Business Head

Job Overview

The Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and managing the overall sales performance within the assigned zone. The role requires proven experience in hardcore direct sales, team leadership, strategic planning, and execution. The position demands a highly driven individual capable of managing large teams, achieving aggressive targets, and developing high-performing sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Sales & Revenue Growth

Drive and achieve zonal sales targets through direct sales strategies and field execution.

Develop and implement sales plans aligned with organizational goals.

Identify new business opportunities, key accounts, and market potential.

Ensure conversion of leads into revenue through strong follow-ups and sales tactics.

2.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

Lead, train, motivate, and monitor district/territory sales teams to ensure consistent performance.

Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions where needed.

Build a high-performing sales culture with strong accountability and ownership.

Manage hiring, onboarding, and capability building of sales team members.

3.

Market Expansion & Relationship Management

Maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Conduct market mapping to identify gaps, new product opportunities, and competitor analysis.

Drive brand presence, customer engagement, and territory expansion initiatives.

4.

Operational Excellence

Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and sales processes.

Monitor sales data, MIS reports, and analytics to track performance and forecast business.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR) for smooth execution.

5.

Field Execution

Ensure frequent field visits with on-ground teams to monitor real-time performance.

Support teams during client meetings, negotiations, and closures.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in direct sales and field sales execution

•Proven track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets

•Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills

•Strong analytical skills with ability to work on data-driven decisions

•Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities

•Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced sales environment

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field (MBA preferred)

•5–10+ years of direct sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a team handling or zonal/regional role

•Experience managing multi-location sales teams will be an added advantage
