Nirosha Foods is a growing FMCG snacks brand offering healthy and premium snacking options such as Makhanas, Cashews, and a curated range of dry fruits. We work closely with trusted suppliers and ensure strict quality control at every stage to deliver fresh, nutritious, and delightful snacking experiences.

Role Summary

The Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) leads sales operations in the assigned zone, responsible for achieving revenue targets, expanding distribution, and managing Area Sales Managers (ASM) and Sales Officers. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and market expansion skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Distribution

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve zonal targets.
  • Appoint and manage Super Stockists (SS), distributors, and retail channels.
  • Ensure product placement, visibility, and primary/secondary sales growth.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, guide, and mentor the zonal sales team (ASM / Sales Officers).
  • Conduct performance reviews and set weekly/monthly targets.
  • Conduct market visits with the team to drive execution.

Business Growth & Planning

  • Identify new markets and expansion opportunities.
  • Develop beat plans, route plans, and productivity models.
  • Coordinate with marketing and trade marketing teams for promotions.

MIS & Reporting

  • Monitor sales reports, stock movement, claims, and billing.
  • Submit daily/weekly/monthly MIS to VP – Sales.

Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with distributors and key retailers.
  • Resolve escalations regarding supply, claims, and product issues.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership & team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills
  • Deep knowledge of FMCG distribution model (SS → Distributor → Retail)

Qualifications

  • Graduate / MBA (preferred)
  • 6–10 years of FMCG field sales experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role
