Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Wine Sommelier to join our team at JW Marriott, with 2-6 years of experience in the field.

Roles and Responsibility

Develop and implement wine lists and menus to enhance customer dining experiences.
Conduct wine tastings and events to promote sales and increase brand awareness.
Collaborate with chefs and other staff members to create innovative wine pairings.
Provide exceptional customer service by offering personalized recommendations and guidance.
Stay updated on new wine releases and trends to maintain expertise.
Assist in inventory management and stock control.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Wine Sommelier or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of wine regions, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
