Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Wine Sommelier to join our team at MARRIOTT BONVOY in the Hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wine knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
Roles and Responsibility
  • Develop and implement effective wine lists and menus to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Conduct wine tasting and training sessions for staff members to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious wine pairings and dishes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of wine inventory, sales, and customer feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with new wine releases, trends, and technologies to continuously improve the company's offerings.
Job Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of wine regions, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
