Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022).
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and WSUS.
• Perform user account management, access control, and permissions setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server, storage, and network-related issues.
• Implement and monitor system performance, backups, and patch management.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V).
• Ensure system security compliance and coordinate with security teams for audits.
• Support incident, change, and problem management processes as per ITIL standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and deployments.
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Windows Server Administration (installation, configuration, troubleshooting).
• Hands-on with PowerShell scripting and at least one other scripting language (Bash or Python).
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Working knowledge of virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V) and backup tools.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, SCOM).
• Basic understanding of cloud environments (Azure or AWS) is an added advantage.
  

Good To Have

• Exposure to Linux Administration or cross-platform scripting.
• Experience in infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• ITIL Certification or equivalent process knowledge.
