Job Title: Windows System Administrator

Experience: 2-3 Years

Job Location: Navi Mumbai (Work from office)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Windows System Administrator to manage and support our Windows-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, IIS, MS SQL Server, and system monitoring tools. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, security, and high performance of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Server & Infrastructure Management

Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
Manage server roles and features including DHCP, DNS, IIS, and File Services.
Perform routine server maintenance, patching, and system upgrades.

2. Active Directory & DNS Administration

Manage user accounts, groups, GPOs, and OU structures in Active Directory.
Configure and troubleshoot DNS zones, records, and replication issues.

3. IIS & Web Services

Deploy and manage web applications hosted on IIS.
Monitor, secure, and optimize IIS performance.

4. MS SQL Server Administration

Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances.
Perform database backups, restores, and performance tuning.
Monitor SQL Server health and proactively resolve issues.

5. Monitoring & Reporting

Use monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, SCOM, or Nagios.
Configure alerts and dashboards for server health, performance, and uptime.
Generate periodic reports and logs for audits and internal reviews.

6. Security & Compliance

Implement security best practices across all servers and services.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory standards.
Manage antivirus, firewall, and endpoint protection solutions.
