This strategic leadership role is responsible for defining and driving the technical architecture and roadmap for modern workplace solutions across the enterprise, including collaboration tools, endpoint management, identity, and security frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise, transformation experience, and the ability to align technology with business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Modern Workplace Strategy & Architecture: Define and lead the enterprise strategy for Modern Workplace and Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and Viva. Own the end-to-end architecture and integration of workplace solutions with existing IT ecosystems. Provide architectural oversight on large-scale transformations, M&A integrations, or hybrid workplace implementations. End User Computing (EUC): Drive the modernization of the EUC landscape including Windows 10/11 lifecycle management, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Autopilot, and application packaging/deployment. Oversee the design and standardization of device management practices leveraging tools like Microsoft Intune, SCCM (MECM), and AutoPilot. Cloud Services & Integration: Ensure seamless integration with Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, and other security/compliance tools. Collaborate with cloud architects to ensure workplace solutions align with broader Azure/cloud strategies and governance frameworks. Security & Compliance: Architect secure access and identity solutions including Zero Trust, MFA, DLP, and Information Protection. Work with compliance and legal teams to implement data governance, insider risk management, and auditing capabilities. Leadership & Governance: Lead cross-functional technical teams, mentor architects and engineers, and drive stakeholder alignment. Establish governance models for service performance, operational resilience, change management, and user adoption. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s/Master s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, TOGAF (preferred), Azure Architect Expert. Experience: 20+ years of IT experience, with at least 10+ years in architecture roles focused on EUC and Microsoft 365. Technical Expertise: Deep hands-on and architectural experience with: Microsoft 365 Suite (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune) Windows 10/11, Azure AD, Group Policy, Conditional Access Device lifecycle management (Autopilot, SCCM/MECM, VDI) Security and compliance: Microsoft Defender, DLP, Purview Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) - added advantage Experience with large-scale IT transformations and global rollouts. Preferred Attributes: Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills. Proven track record of leading large enterprise programs and multi-vendor environments. Visionary leadership with the ability to anticipate future technology trends and guide organizational change. Hands-on experience working in global organizations with complex IT environments and regulatory landscapes. Location Requirements: Candidate must be based in Bangalore or willing to relocate. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for performance and availability of Compute and Network infrastructure consumed by all business segments. The Site Reliability teams are composed of highly talented individuals obsessively focused with availability through operational excellence. In this role, you will: Establish performance baseline, capacity thresholds, correlate events, and define monitoring/alerting criteria Develop automated solutions to address potential problems before they result in a service interruption Provide impact assessment and mitigation plan for changes going into the production environment Investigate root cause of severe and systemic outages, identify corrective actions and apply across the enterprise Develop availability measures that align with consumer experience to accurately assess the usability of crucial services Build capacity models to baseline transactional load compared to resource performance and leverage data to predict overall system capacity while automating load placement to avoid outages Identify thresholds for all critical links in the data path to quickly isolate where imbalances may result in potential outages Analyze failure points in services to model risk level and resolution steps if failure occurs. Assist in driving architecture enhancements into system to mitigate potential failure points. Programmatically monitor for and remediate configuration drift of critical devices Develop response plans to potential failure points and evaluate effectiveness during planned tests Perform comprehensive operational health checks of the entire services to identify areas of concern and track activities to drive improvements at all levels of the architecture Provide technical coaching and direction to more junior teammates Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with at least years of experience 5 years Desired Qualifications: Excellent knowledge of common operating systems (Unix/Linux, Windows) Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and inter-networking technologies (routing/switching, proxy, firewall, load balancing etc.) Demonstrated experience scripting or developing software and services for the cloud Ruby, Python, Go, Java, Node.js, .NET, etc. Extensive Experience with Infrastructure Automation Experience using an automated configuration management system (Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, etc.) Experience deploying and managing infrastructure on public clouds such as AWS or Azure Experience with configuring, customizing, and extending monitoring tools (Datadog, Sensu, Grafana, Splunk, etc.)
