The web merchandiser is responsible for project managing all online projects for lenovo.com. The work environment is very fast-paced and the merchandiser should feel comfortable managing many projects and multi-tasking to handle last-minute, rapid deploy projects as well as longer-term projects. - Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales, profitability, improve customer engagement, and market growth.
- Analyze trends, customer data, and competitor activities to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with business teams, 4Ps, marketing, and global teams to align product offerings with consumer demands.
- Product Selection and Placement:
- Manage product assortment and visibility on Lenovo.com.
- Work with 4Ps to select the right products for display based on customer preferences and seasonal trends.
- Determine product placement strategies within stores to maximize visibility and sales.
- Visual Merchandising:
- Oversee the design and layout of product displays to ensure they are visually appealing and promote key products.
- Collaborate with campaign, search DG teams to create in-store displays, promotions, and signage that drive traffic and sales.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Analyze data and provide insights on product performance, placements, and customer behavior to guide future planning.
- Promotions and Marketing Alignment:
- Collaborate with campaign, DG teams to develop in-store promotional campaigns and seasonal events.
- Ensure that merchandising strategies align with overall brand image and geo initiatives.
- Reporting:
- Regularly report to regional teams on performance, merchandising effectiveness, and any adjustments needed.
- Use data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
