Position: We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Web Development Manager to lead and mentor our development team that works closely with the marketing department. This team is responsible for creating high-performing landing pages, dynamic email templates, and digital assets. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, team leadership experience, and a strong understanding of web technologies and marketing automation. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and mentor a team of web developers responsible for building and maintaining marketing assets (landing pages, email templates, etc.). Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle for digital marketing deliverables — from brief and wireframes to development, QA, deployment, and performance tracking. Ensure seamless integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud using AMPscript, HTML/CSS, and dynamic content scripting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, content, design, and CRM operations to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of digital assets. Maintain coding best practices, implement quality assurance protocols, and enforce accessibility and mobile responsiveness standards. Manage workload distribution, project timelines, and sprint planning using agile methodologies. Troubleshoot and resolve performance or rendering issues across different browsers, email clients, and devices. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, web standards, and SFMC developments to guide the team toward innovation and optimization. Work closely with stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. Requirements: Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.). Expertise in AMPscript and dynamic content scripting within SFMC. Familiarity with Git, version control systems, and CI/CD workflows. Strong understanding of web performance, email rendering, and cross-platform compatibility. Team & Project Management: Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team of developers. Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Experience: Previous experience working in higher education or a marketing agency. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Journey Builder, and automation tools. Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
