Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Web Development Manager to lead our web development team at HOOQX in Chinsurah, Hooghly. The ideal candidate must have 4+ years of proven experience as a Web Developer with strong expertise in modern web development technologies and a demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and mentor a team. The candidate should possess excellent technical knowledge, project management skills, and leadership qualities to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and mentor the web development team to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of websites, web applications, and portals.
• Collaborate with designers, marketing teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Ensure the use of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Manage project timelines, assign tasks, and monitor performance of developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing web systems when required.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in web development.
• Ensure websites are optimized for speed, scalability, and security.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Web Developer.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js/Angular/Vue.js.
• Strong experience in back-end development: PHP, Node.js, Python, or similar frameworks.
• Expertise in database management: MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and ability to work closely with designers.
• Knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Magento, etc.) and e-commerce development.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Strong knowledge of web hosting, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Proven leadership qualities with the ability to guide and manage a team.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Salary:

Salary will be based on last drawn and experience (within company bracket).

Preferred Candidate:

• Candidates with team management and leadership experience.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Chinsurah, Hooghly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
