Web Development Manager

As a Web Development Manager at HOOQX in Chinsurah, Hooghly, your role will involve leading a team of web developers to deliver high-quality web solutions. You should have a minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Web Developer and possess strong expertise in modern web development technologies. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading, managing, and mentoring the web development team to ensure successful project delivery. - Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of websites, web applications, and portals. - Collaborating with designers, marketing teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional solutions. - Ensuring the use of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. - Managing project timelines, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance of developers. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing web systems when required. - Staying up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in web development. - Ensuring websites are optimized for speed, scalability, and security. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Web Developer. - Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js/Angular/Vue.js. - Strong experience in back-end development: PHP, Node.js, Python, or similar frameworks. - Expertise in database management: MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or equivalent. - Familiarity with UI/UX principles and ability to work closely with designers. - Knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Magento, etc.) and e-commerce development. - Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab). - Strong knowledge of web hosting, APIs, and cloud platforms. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. - Proven leadership qualities with the ability to guide and manage a team. - Strong communication and time-management skills.
