As a Quality Inspector - PDI, your primary responsibilities will include conducting inspections at factory locations and preparing inspection reports. You will also be responsible for responding to client inquiries regarding the status of inspections. In this role, you will be required to perform inspections on a variety of electrical and electronics items such as CCTV, transformers, mobile phones, household appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines), and industrial products at factory premises based on client specifications. Additionally, you will conduct safety and functional testing on household goods in accordance with standards such as IEC 60335-1, IEC 60065, IEC 60598-1, and IEC 60950-1. It is essential that you are familiar with both Indian (IS) and international standards (IEC) and proficient in sampling methods (AQL). Candidates for this position should hold a B.Tech degree in Electrical or Electrical & Telecommunication discipline from a reputable institution with a strong academic background. Familiarity with inspection systems and quality control tools is required. The role involves extensive travel, often on short notice. Key attributes for success in this role include the ability to work independently, proactively, and possess excellent language and interpersonal skills. Effective communication in English, Hindi, and/or the local language is necessary. The job demands extensive travel and the ability to manage time constraints effectively. This is a full-time or freelance position with benefits including health insurance. The work schedule is during the day with in-person duties at various locations.
